By booking a stay at Blackwater Shepherd’s Hut, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

Terms & Conditions

To make a booking we require 50% deposit payable by direct bank transfer. Payment details will be sent out in an email confirming your booking. By booking your holiday with Blackwater Shepherds Hut you agree to the following terms and conditions.

ARRIVAL

The hut is available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be left in a clean condition not later than 10am on departure day, unless by prior arrangement.

DEPARTURE

On departure the hut is to be left clean and tidy with the keys returned to the key safe.

BOOKING

When you make a booking and payment an email confirming the dates and times of your holiday is sent to you. Booking and payment is considered the establishment of a legal contract.

CANCELLATION BY US

Extreme Conditions: Blackwater Shepherds Hut reserve the right to cancel a holiday if for unforeseeable circumstances we are unable to provide safe accommodation in a Shepherds Hut due to extreme conditions, ill health, fire or administration or any other extenuating circumstance. Under such unlikely circumstances your full payment will be returned.

CANCELLATION BY YOU

We understand that circumstances change and emergencies occur. If a booking is cancelled before the 6 weeks prior to arrival the deposit will be refunded minus a 10% admin fee. Deposits will not be returned for cancellations within the 5 weeks prior to arrival.

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE

If on your arrival you find any items or fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery is broken, damaged or missing, please report it to us and it will be replaced. We do accept a degree of wear and tear but should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you will be held responsible for and must make good to the lowest market value. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a Hut has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc.

CHILDREN/PETS

No children or pets are allowed on the site.

NEGLIGENCE

Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.

STOLEN PROPERTY

Blackwater Shepherds Hut cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. There are locks on the Shepherd Hut doors.

NO SMOKING POLICY

All our Shepherd Hut holds a strict NO SMOKING POLICY and smoking in our Shepherd Hut or veranda will result in a fine of up to £100 in order to clean to a satisfactory standard. Anyone who smokes outside of the Huts is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin and NOT littering the surrounding area.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS
Under no circumstances may the maximum number of 2 people sleeping in each Shepherd hut be exceeded.

AGE POLICY
We do not accept bookings from anyone under the age of 21 and reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.

KEYS
Please pick the keys up from the key safe located on the right hand side of the bin and gas shed, the code for the safe will be sent to you by email once your booking has been confirmed.
